Chocolate Truffles for Valentine's Day with Acme Markets

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of ACME Markets. All opinions are 100% mine.

The most romantic holiday - Valentine's Day - is just in a couple of days. Our house is all decorated in hearts, flowers, romantic details...so lovely!

Luckily I live several minutes drive from ACME Markets that has literally everything for this day. When you enter the store, the first thing you see is a great variety of debi lilly design™x Valentines collection floral products: from stylish decorated bouquets to blooming plants in pearls flower pot covers and vases.

They also have beautiful scented candles that I absolutely love. The aromatherapy from candles can instantly help you unwind and relax. Soft spring scents calm the mind, reduce stress and add warmth and romance to our homes. Perfect as a treat for yourself, or can be gifted to friends, family, distance learning teachers, neighbors, etc.

With the holiday décor coming down, bare homes need a pick me up. Blooming plants are the perfect trending for spring: bright, bold pops of color with long lasting, easy care leafy plants with fun pot covers you can easily change out for the seasons. As you can see, I got a blooming hydrangea in a pearl flower pot cover and pink candle.

And to make Valentine's Day even more romantic I decided to make my own chocolate truffles. This is my husband's favorite kind of candies and the best part here is that it takes only a couple of hours to make. So I got all the necessary ingredients at ACME Markets: chocolate bars, Lucerne® unsalted butter and heavy whipping Cream, Signature Select® Vanilla extract, Open Nature® chopped walnuts and sprinkles for decoration. That's all you need!

Chocolate truffles

Ingredients:

-8 oz of finely chipped chocolate bars

-2/3 cup Lucerne heavy cream

-1 tbsp Lucerne unsalted butter

-1/2 teaspoon Signature SELECT pure vanilla extract

-Open Nature crushed walnuts and sprinkles for toppings

Method: put the chopped chocolate in a medium bowl and add the butter. Pour the warm heavy cream on top and whisk well until the mixture is combined and you get a rich and creamy chocolate texture. Add vanilla extract, stir well and put the bowl in the fridge for a couple of hours for the chocolate to chill. When chilled, remove the chocolate from the fridge and scoop a tablespoon size rolls. Roll into balls and then roll each ball into toppings. You can enjoy immediately, store at room temperature or in the fridge. Enjoy!
